Well the event went well. We set up inside of Fort Scott Community college across the way from a wild west cookery. They provided the meats and we provided the sweets. The rum creme pie went over well, so too did the fruit salad and the fresh baked breads. For some reason the whoopie pies were not that well received at this event.
Chuck wagon cookery abounded, the smells of metal begin forged on an anvil, coupled with the "twang" of the cowboys made the event a true tribute to the "Old West" The vendors lined the inside of the hallways, volunteers worked to keep the event running smoothly.
The day was all in all a great time for everyone.
